Kampong Chheuteal Institute of Technology (KCIT) is a public higher education institution upgraded from Kampong Chheuteal High School on April 07, 2015, by the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia. 

 

The Kampong Chheuteal Institute of Technology has developed its strategic plan which is a roadmap for striving to reach a vision – be a national leading technology institute cultivating a new generation of high competent citizens for sustainable development, through offering the training program from high school level to bachelor's degree as well as technical pedagogy program in industrial and agricultural technology, with a vital focus on proficiency, vocational skills and professional conscience through authentic hands-on practice and experiment in a technical workshop, labs, farms as well as internships both locally and abroad to gain practical experience in factories, enterprises and companies. The Institute also attaches great importance to the quality standards of training by improving the curriculum, compiling and developing teaching documents and materials, improving classrooms, operating rooms, workshops, laboratories, farms, and equipping them with adequate and up-to-date equipment in line with today's technology modernization.

 

Currently, there are 1,142 full scholarship students enrolled in four majors – Plant Science, Animal Science, Electric Energy, Electronic, Computer Science, Tourism and Hotel, Life Skill and Technical Teacher Training in Agriculture-Animal Husbandry, Workshop-Electricity and general and technical education demonstration high school.
